Time out with the fam, and time to play with my new toy- Canon Rebel t2i- 50mm f1.8

Brian Banowetz: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; I currently live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my wife Betsy and son Hudson. I work at Yellowbook where I am a client services representative, working with existing clients to build the ideal advertising program encompassing a variety of mediums ranging from websites and SEO (search engine optimization), to direct mail and traditional print and yellowpage mediums. I currently volunteer my time with a production company called Outreach Outdoors where I film and edit extensively as well as teach basic video techniques. On the side, my wife and I like to earn a little extra money by photographing weddings, senior portraits, and families. I was born with an innate desire to create. Photography and videography have always been something that I’ve done because I enjoy it rather than something I have to do. My mind is always running with ideas and thoughts, and I thrive on conceptualizing a project and seeing it through to the end. No matter what the medium, whether it’s a two-dimensional photo or a three-dimensional woodworking project, I am happiest when knee deep in a project and my creativity has an outlet.
